We are committed to promoting civic pride, advancing economic development, and partnering with local governments to enhance infrastructure, transportation, and the health and well-being of our residents.
Purpose
Purpose of the Town North Association:
- Fostering Community Engagement:
- Promote unity and active participation among residents through neighborhood events, meetings, and initiatives that strengthen our community bonds.
- Encouraging Civic Pride:
- Preserve and celebrate the unique history and character of the greater Town North area, inspiring residents to take pride in their homes and environment.
- Supporting Economic Development:
- Work with local businesses, developers, and stakeholders to bring new economic growth to the area, revitalizing the community’s commercial spaces and increasing property values.
- Creating Economic Opportunities:
- Partner with local businesses, educational institutions, and government agencies to bring job opportunities and workforce development programs to the neighborhood, ensuring economic sustainability for our residents.
- Collaborating with Local Governments:
- Partner with the City of Arlington and Tarrant County to address community needs in:
- Infrastructure: Improve roads, utilities, and public spaces.
- Blight Removal: Enhance efforts to reduce blight and promote property maintenance.
- Transportation: Advocate for safe and accessible transportation options.
- Health and Wellbeing: Ensure residents have access to healthcare, recreational facilities, and programs that improve the overall quality of life.
